On May 19, 2009, Ed Viesturs, the only U.S. climber to have climbed all fourteen of the world’s 8,000 meter peaks without supplemental oxygen, achieved his goal of summiting Mount Everest successfully for the seventh time! Ed wrote of his historic attempt:
“We left last night at about 11:00 under beautiful skies. We had a phenomenal day. I...got to the summit about 8:30 in the morning. So it got a little blustery on top. We spent probably an hour
on the summit and we got back here at Camp IV at 1:00 in the afternoon. So about a 14 hour round trip. Conditions were good. The weather was almost perfect. You could see forever.”
In preparation for his climb, Agel sent Mr. Viesturs several boxes of Agel products. He particularly used PRO, MIN, and OHM while gearing up for his ascent. On Saturday, September 5th, Ed will be one of the keynote speakers at the top of our AgelWorld ‘09, the theme of which will be “Right Now!” Be sure to register today at http://www.regmeup.com/agel/agelworld/.
Please remember, even if you have an AgelWorld voucher (included in our new Enrollment Kits) you will still need to register both yourself and your guest online in order to redeem your voucher and attend AgelWorld ‘09. Vouchers are non-transferrable.
